Whilst thinking of ways to generate extra funds for her children’s primary school, Carina proposed a business directory aimed at the local school community, with revenue raised from advertising sales.
The overall goal was to create a valuable resource for the benefit of the wider community and increase the value of advertising for businesses. It was from this vision that Connecting Bassendean was born.
Now in it's second edition, the Connecting Bassendean directory is cementing itself as a much anticipated and value resource for the suburb's community.
CVW Creative took the intial concept and developed the brand's logo, advertising and the directory itself. The full colour, 40 page directory, of which 10,000 copies were printed, was developed to enable the easy adapation of the idea to other suburbs.
The project also required a small business website design package which includes a newsletter signup area and associated email template.
"Sara and the team at CVW took my dream of a high quality community directory and created something that was beyond my expectations.
Feedback from our readers consistently includes comments on how great the publication looks. I would definitely recommend CVW to anyone starting a website or graphic design project."
